Due to growing business needs, a newly created opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Assistant Manager to join the Finance team that is based in Selangor. This role is important to support the Group Finance team in planning and keeping track of financial position to aid decision making.

The new role

Reporting to the Senior Manager, the Assistant Manager will play an integral role in providing Accounts Receivable transaction processing support to customers and ensuring that statutory reports are attended to on timely basis. You will be responsible for the review of policies, guidelines & procedures to further streamline the credit control processes. You will also work closely with cross functional department making sure that the required tasks are completed within the expected time frame and operations are carried out in accordance to the operating procedures. The Assistant Manager will maintain close rapport with the bankers to perform treasury deals verifications.

Requirements to succeed

The successful candidate must hold a Chartered Accountant certificate, with at least 5-6 years’ relevant work experience, ideally with commercial experience gained from a fast-moving manufacturing outfit. Knowledge in ERP systems as well as loan documentation forex hedging will be an added advantage. Ability to lead and work independently and efficiency in execution of assignment to meet deadline.
