Assistant Manager, Internal Audit - with Growth Opportunities

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager/Senior Manager in ensuring satisfactory completion of the Audit Plan and ad-hoc requests covering various operational and technology-related areas in the Head Office and Branches. 
• Support the Manager/ Senior Manager in the role of assurance provider and consultant to the CEO, ITSC & Business Units in supporting the Company’s strategic business plan and objectives. 
• Support the role of providing value-add and enhancing the appropriate policies and procedures to guide the internal audit function and ensure the quality of the assurance services delivered. 
• Support the Manager/Senior Manager to plan, develop and oversee the execution of the annual Audit Plan. 
• Ensure timely escalation of risk and controls assessments together with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure that audit plan is focused and dynamic in key areas of risk and change. 
• Ensure that key risks are effectively and timely communicated. 
• Execute the audit plan efficiently and effectively. 
• Audit plan is completed in all material aspects, audits are planned well and managed according to plan, audit engagements are performed according to audit methodology, and issues are discussed with Management.

Responsibilities

• Minimum Professional Qualification: Degree in Finance/ Accounting/IT.
• Professional membership/ certification with recognised Professional bodies ie. ISACA, IIA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of mixed experience in a Finance/ Insurance/ Business related role, with a minimum of 2 years spent in a multinational organization.
