Assistant Manager, IT Audit - Hiring Urgently

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the formulation and execution of comprehensive audit plans aimed at evaluating the effectiveness of IT controls and operational processes.
• Support the Management in assessing the risks associated with IT systems and operational activities, and provide recommendations for risk mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of audit methodologies tailored to IT and operational functions, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct audits, identify control weaknesses, and propose practical solutions to strengthen internal controls.
• Participate in the review and assessment of IT governance frameworks, policies and procedures to ensure compliance with organizational objectives and industry standards.
• Involvement in the preparation of audit reports and presentations summarizing findings, observations, and recommendations for senior management and key stakeholders.
• To monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and provide guidance to ensure timely and effective resolution of identified issues.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and developments in IT and operational audit practices, and integrate relevant insights into audit processes and procedures.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders to facilitate the achievement of audit objectives and organizational goals.
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special project tasks, as may be assigned by the Head of Group Internal Audit & Integrity Division and Head of System Audit.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree holder in Information Technology/Computer Science/Business Administration or equivalent field. Diploma holder with more than 5 years of experience in IT and Operations audit will be taken into consideration. Candidates with relevant professional qualifications or certifications will be an added advantage.
• Minimum four (4) years of practical experiences in IT audit, IT security and familiar with IT risk management and controls. Good experience in carrying out business and operations audit.
• Good knowledge in COSO, COBIT, ITIL, NIST, ISO/ISMS 27001 and industry accepted IT standards and well experienced in using CAATs and Tableau or Power BI Dashboard will be an added advantage.
• Effective team player, excellent in communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Good experience in carrying out investigation work.
• Able to work independently and carry out responsibilities amidst tight deadlines.
