- Develop and implement procurement policies & strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery of goods and services.
- Assign tasks to team members, monitor work progress and provide frequent feedback to ensure team members are efficient.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers and conduct supplier evaluations.
- Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Develop and manage budgets and cost saving initiatives.
- Streamline workflows to reduce cycle times.
- Identify areas of improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficency.
- Maintain good working relationships with suppliers and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide and submit data/ reports to superior/ management/ headquarters timely.
- Carry out general managerial tasks in procurement capacity.
Desired Skills & Traits:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in Procurement preferably in electrical industry.
- Able to lead and motivate team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
