We are hiring an enthusiastic Assistant Manager, Project to join our amazing team at Sunsuria Berhad in Selangor.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Track and monitor the progress of construction work for successful completion on time, within budget and with good workmanship.
  • Coordinate and follow up with authorities and consultants with regards to design, engineering, construction, approval and operations matters.
  • Identify planning approval requirements and to obtain necessary authorities’ approvals in order to kick off the projects.
  • Organize and coordinate for forum discussions and effective problem solutions.
  • Attend meeting to coordinate with consultants for resolving technical matters and obtaining technical information and solution to complete construction details.
  • Ensure effective implementation of construction works at site with compliance to authority requirements, by-laws, regulations etc.
  • Monitor construction progress through tracking of actual progress against the targeted progress, and to derive catch-up strategy if delay occurred.
  • Identify authorities’ requirements pertaining to issuance of CCC and coordinate with consultants for submission of drawings, documents, forms and joint inspections at site.
  • Assist in plan and specification analysis in order to provide clear, trackable, and coordinated interpretations of the design/drawings for construction.
  • Liaise with relevant authority bodies for example Majlis Perbandaran to ensure project obtain the necessary and required approvals within the scheduled time frame.
  • Liaise and coordinate with consultants on progression of work to ensure assigned project achieve on time.
  • Liaise with consultants and relevant authority bodies in order to get development approvals until Certificate Completion and Compliance (CCC).
  • Periodically update the team on work progress for presentation to the Management.
  • Liaise with other Departments at meetings with relevance to project operations to ensure time and cost plans are updated to reflect latest information.
  • Attend to site inspections whenever needed pertaining to authority bodies approval and project management.
  • Liaise with all the consultants in expediting drawings and related information.
  • Monitor field work, including contract work, to ensure compliance with company standards & requirements, procedures, specifications and codes.
  • Monitor project cost and schedule performance including providing project cost and schedule control when needed.
  • Ensure completion of final project documentations & other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Structural, Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building or related discipline with minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience in property development or construction Industry.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills (English is a must).
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • High standards of constructions work in implementing CONQUAS, QLASSIC etc.
  • Able to build effective and long-standing partnership across with relevant stakeholders.
  • Good project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities for maximum delivery result.
