We are eager to add a meticulous Assistant Manager, Public Relation to join our fast-paced team at Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME) Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur.

  • Manage Corporate activities (partnership, sponsorship, events)
  • Build and Maintain rapport with media partners
  • Monitor and compilation of competitive PR activities
  • Managing the budget and timeline control
  • Create differentiated PR strategies and campaigns that are best in class and best practices.
  • Partner internal stakeholders such as product marketing team and external agency partners to create PR strategies that integrate with larger marketing and business objectives.
  • Keeps the company up-to-date with latest PR development including changes, new PR platforms, tools, best practices etc.
  • Manage execution of all PR touch points for each campaign.
  • Curate press release
  • Use Big Idea to drive interaction campaign (through content and community management).
  • Able to lead, train, develop and inspire internal PR team.
  • Integrate online PR and social media into corporate communications, public relations and public affairs.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate must possess at least a Degree, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Excellent command of both verbal and written English & Malay language are essential
  • Enthusiastic and dynamic with strong people management & decision making skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Good communications, negotiations, presentations and strong analytical skills
  • Strong media contacts across all media platform and good rapport with media partners.
  • Able to work in fast pace and demanding MNC cultures
  • Passion and committed to timelines

Yearly renewable contract available.
