Position Summary
To support the Head of Quality, Safety & Standard Compliance in managing and coordinating all quality assurance activities within the Maintenance Training Organisation (MTO), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, company procedures, and quality objectives. The role involves leading audits, monitoring standards, liaising with authorities, and assisting in the continual improvement of the Quality Management System.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and coordinate quality functions to ensure MTO objectives are met in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.
- Manage and conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with training procedures and standards.
- Identify non-compliance or poor practices and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented by the relevant managers.
- Coordinate and monitor remedial actions initiated by the Training Manager, Examination Manager, and other relevant personnel.
- Track completion and effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures.
- Review the Exposition and associated manuals annually to ensure updates and amendments are completed as required.
- Liaise and coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities (CAAM) to ensure conformance with all quality and regulatory requirements.
- Support and verify independent audits of training sections and sub-contractors.
- Liaise with CAAM and other regulatory bodies on quality and compliance matters as required.
- Oversee and monitor the approval, assessment, and renewal of MTO Practical Assessors and Knowledge Examiners.
- Assist in issuing recommendation letters for CAAM AML issuance, variation (type endorsement), or exemptions based on training and assessment records.
- Prepare or assist in preparing minutes of Annual Review Meetings and other quality-related documentation.
- Maintain quality records and ensure traceability of all quality activities.
- Supervise and guide Quality Executives in carrying out their functions.
- Deputise for the Head of Quality, Safety & Standard Compliance when required and ensure continuity of quality functions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License; or
- Degree in Aerospace or Aeronautical or Engineering discipline.
- 5 years working experience
Area of Experience
- Aircraft Maintenance Organisation or Maintenance Training Organisation (Part 147)
- Lead Auditor Experience
- Experience in Conducting Internal and External Audits
- Managing Regulatory Authority Audits (e.g. CAAM, EASA)

- Excellent coordination and time management skills, ensuring tasks and projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and other MS Office applications for preparing, formatting, and managing professional reports and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
