As Assistant Manager-Transport, you will need to:

• Export and extracting data from various sources such as WMS, OTM, LMS, Dispatcher, etc. to develop meaningful insight for the departments.
• Manage operation team to ensure on time delivery fulfilling customer requirements. 
• Ensure Delivery KPI meeting customer requirements and updating delivery status promptly.
• Liaise with internal stack holders to ensure delivery performance meeting customer expectation.
• Carry out improvement activities to improve current transportation management operation for continuous improvement.
• Conduct the process of data mining and auditing which integrates with wise statistical conceptual as to help understanding the algorithm deeply.
• Perform transport operational analysis includes identify, analyze, interpret trend and pattern that will be valuable and boosting the business.
• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, developing and implementing solutions.
• Effectively communicate your insights and plans to other business unit, team members and management.
• Perform any project & analytics relevant tasks given by the immediate superior.

Candidate must possess below criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science, operation management, Logistics & Supply Chain, or Data Science
• Has at least 3-5 years experiences in related to transportation, logistics operations or distribution business.
• Able to carry out task independently UNDER minimal guidance, strong team player and the attitude ‘can do’!
• Excellent interpersonal skill and managing customer experience is an added value.
• Managing Transporters to ensure promptly update on delivery status.
• Well verse with analytical and visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI and other with deep understanding of conducting descriptive, diagnostics, predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases.
• High-level written and verbal communication skills.
• Certification in any recognized ‘Data Analytics’ or anything related will be AN added value.

Possess own driving license to travel around when needed.
