Assistant Sales Manager / Manager (Food Industry) - Generous Compensation

Job responsibilities would encompass:

• To service existing clients for continuation commercial and technical improvement by building strong business rapport and excellent value added services.
• To draft Sales & Marketing proposals including technical solutions to customers.
• To report Sales & Marketing activities (IND- Industry Division), Business Performance by tracking the market developments, Sales performance, Competitive Analysis, Forecast and Trends on monthly basis.
• To research, identify, develop and consolidate data on customers’ needs such as product applications, commercial service requirements, purchasing cycles, delivery schedules and pricing structure, science and regulatory compliance.
• To conduct market research so as to identify and understand business partners’ expectations and needs.
• Good communication with other Sales colleagues in understanding business partners' needs / profiles / challenges.
• To work closely with immediate Superior in implementing defined Sales & Marketing activities such as Cost Targets vs. Supply vs. Sales, incentive plans, product portfolio streamlining, product applications and product flows.
• To identify and provide technical support in ensuring superior customer service & quality, continuity of product and/or application introduction and timely know-how exchange.
• Any ad-hoc assigned by immediate superior/management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science (Food Technology / Nutrition / Dietetics) or equivalent.
• At least 2-4 years’ experience in food ingredients industry. Experienced in dealing with food ingredients especially functional ingredients for varies food applications will be added advantage.
• Well versed with MS Office, MS Excel and particularly in Power Point presentation.
• Possess own vehicle and willing to travel outstation.
• Able to work at Taman Melawati, KL.
