We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Associate, Institutional & Wealth Sales .
Role Purpose:
Coverage of Local and Foreign Currency Fixed Income business. Engagement with onshore investors in the distribution of HSBC-led and originated deals and managing internal distribution channels. Active recycling of our FI trading axe and crossing client interest on bonds. Leading non-flow product coverage for institutional clients (banks, insurance, pensions, asset managers). Engaging with client and identifying hedging opportunities and derivative solutions incl. structured financing ideas. Principal Responsibilities:
Deliver AOP Financial targets including revenues, costs and key business initiatives as specified yearly. Work with product partners and regional sponsors on products / solutions and client engagement. Liaise with the FIG team on client connectivity. Interact with clients efficiently and skilfully at all levels. Develop relationships with internal stakeholders across departments and countries. Conduct the business with a clear understanding of HSBC values and business principles. Take personal responsibility for living the values and business principles within the team. Communicate clearly and consistently to all parts of the business, ensuring actions are aligned to messages. Actively share information with the team, ensuring they understand business priorities and opportunities. Demonstrate a clear awareness of the operational and reputational risk scenarios associated to my role and proactively minimise Bank exposure to risk. Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to my business area, specifically Internal Controls and appropriate Compliance policy. Active and robust contribution to banks governance. Ensure effective use of these as per individual terms of reference. Protect the reputation and integrity of the Group and be fully compliant with local regulations and Group standards. Requirements
