Associate / Senior Associates, Operations - Hiring Now

Job Purpose:

• To support, execute and deliver the daily business transactions and operations of the unit to meet business objectives of Digital Investment Management (DIM).
• To support, building a strong, sustainable and enduring relationship with customers to meet the objective to strengthen the business unit’s market presence.

Job Responsibilities:

Operation Service Support and Execution (HR KRA definition - Internal Business Process)

• Support and ensure compliant with Statutory requirement, and agreed Service Level Agreement
• Support and execute error-free execution procedures operationally.
• Support and ensure day-to-day account opening processing, fund transfers to broker, deposit and withdrawal instructions from the clients are executed timely and as per SOP.
• Support, execute, and ensure in building the effectiveness and efficiencies of the accuracy and completeness of daily business transactions undertaken by the units.
• Support and maximise automation opportunities to reduce manual processes, especially in areas where there are client interfacing risks.

Management Accounting

• Execute and ensure the daily/ monthly bank reconciliations for all transactions are accurate and done in timely manner
• Ensure all daily/ monthly cash, trade and accounting records are properly updated and reconciled in the operational system
• Ensure monthly finance-related reports are accurate and able to deliver to the related internal stakeholders in timely manner.

Rules & regulations and compliance reporting requirements (Internal Business Process)

• Execute and ensure accuracy and completeness of details furnished to the Regulators.
• Execute and ensure the submission of all reporting to management and regulators are accurate and in timely manner.
• Support, execute and ensure up-to-date operation-related reports and submission requirements determined by the Regulators
   

Policy & procedure reporting requirements (Internal business process)

• Execute and ensure guidelines compliance to the up-to-date policies and procedures.
• Update the policy and procedure for Operational matters from time-to-time upon changes of the workflows.

 Job Qualifications:

• Accounting or finance-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Passed SIDC Licensing Examination module / Valid CMSRL / have Audit experience will be an added advantage. 
• Minimum of two to five years of working experience in financial accounting environment, preferably in the stock broking, unit trust or financial services industry.
