Asst Manager / Manager, Research & Development - Rewarding Work

Working Location : Johor Bahru

• Focuses on the development and management of a specific product or set of products (existing product & new).
• Responsibilities include defining the product strategy, gathering requirements, overseeing product development, and managing the product lifecycle (for existing and new products)
• Works closely with cross-functional teams such as production, regulatory, design, and Sales & Marketing to bring the product to market and ensure its success.
• Analyses market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
• To be involved in pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies for the product.
• Costing of raw materials and packaging materials.
• Overall cost analysis, ensuring manufacturing viability and minimum order quantities (MOQ) for efficient production.

Requirements:

• Candidates should possess at least a Bachelor's Degree. 
• Previous experience in product management, preferably in a manufacturing.
• At least 5 years hands-on working experience in managerial role with a similar capacity in the healthcare / FMCG / Pharmaceutical / food industry.
• Excellent communication skills are necessary for effectively collaborating with internal teams, external suppliers, and internal customers.
