Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence on:
- Variation Orders to ensure accuracy& accountability.
- Final Accounts for completeness, accuracy& accountability.
- “Tender Comparison Report” & “Recommendation for Award (for Sub-Contracts)”
- Letter of Awards & co-ordinates signing of same by the bosses.
- Sub-contractors’ contract Bills of Quantities (BQ) &/or Schedule of Rates prior to award.
- Monthly General Workers’Wages Claim submitted by the Site Team.
- Petty cash claims submitted by site PICs.
- Taking off quantities for preparation of Bills of Quantities (BQ).
- Preparation of Costings / Estimates.
- Monitor the release of payments to Sub-Contractors & Suppliers.
- Ensure approved Sub-Contractors’ Interim Payment Certificates (IPC), Variation Orders & Final Accounts are stored digitally & same returned timely to Contracts Dept.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by his / her Superior
Education and Experiences:
- Diploma or Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Building Construction.
- At least Two (2) years post graduate working experience in Construction industry preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
- Well verse in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Well verse in taking off quantities using Glodon Software
