Automation Specialist

As an Automation Specialist at ZALORA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions to streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions using industry-leading tools such as n8n, Workato, UiPath, Google App Scripts, Python and VBA. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for automation.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Workato, UiPath, Google App Scripts, Python and VBA.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure automation solutions meet business needs.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing automation solutions, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Document automation processes, workflows, and best practices.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.
• Provide training and support to end-users and team members on automation tools and solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in process automation, scripting, or workflow automation.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of the following tools: n8n, Workato, UiPath, Google App Scripts, Python or VBA. Experience with multiple tools is a strong plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Hardworking, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
