Bakery / Pastry Chef - Immediate Start

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating pastries/baked goods according to company/customer requirements and feasible to be produced in production line.
• Assist in R&D innovation which results in the development of new products to support marketing program/ promotion to deliver 100% customer satisfaction and achieve company’s business goals.
• Assist in costing and product specification preparation on all developing products.
• Applies basic food science knowledge in ingredient functionality and process technology to develop new, improve existing products and cost savings.
• Collaborate research in areas including food regulation and process validations.
• Liaise with suppliers for new products and ingredients.
• Sourcing new ingredients to aid in the innovation process.
• Support R&D team on sensory evaluations for new raw material replacement or new products.
• Identifies and advances quality and process improvement opportunities.
• Prepare related reports on regular basis Weekly (discussion / development status), Monthly and Yearly by official reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/HOD.

Requirements:

• Culinary Degree or relevant certification.
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in food industry. 
• Fresh graduates with strong hands-on pastry skills are welcome to apply.
• Candidates are required to have driving license and possess own transport
