About us

Globelink Malaysia was established in 1991 covering the major ports in West Malaysia. Presently we are 100% owned by CWT Globelink Pte Ltd of Singapore with more than 100 offices worldwide. Being an International Freight forwarder specializing in L.C.L ( less than a container load ) we provide an extensive range of services covering more than 200 ports and 1600 destinations worldwide offering export, import and transshipment services using our own network.

Qualifications & experience

• Tertiary education preferable
• 3-4 years experience in leading a small team
• Preferably some experience in LCL consolidation environment
• Good business finance acumen

Tasks & responsibilities

• Branch Manager of the Port Klang as a profit centre.
• Co-operates in the development and implementation of business operation and reporting systems
• Support in determining the business strategy and execute its implementation in close liaison with the Group CEO located in Singapore and with Singapore HQ.
• Be the first line of escalation for operational issues addressed the operation team in Port Klang.
• Review and manage cargo flow to ensure development of new lanes & services focus on efficient utilization
• Ensure rate procurement efficiency.
• Monitor/analyse branch performance in terms of volume/revenue/GP/EBIT, identify performance gaps vs. budget and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform customers volume and profitability analysis and working closely with HODs to improve performance.
