Penerangan Pekerjaan - Brand & Franchise General Manager

Job Objective:

Brand

  • Overall responsibility for the full spectrum of the restaurant’s operations, brand image and financial performance of the Brand in the assigned country.
  • Provide mentoring, coaching and direction to Operations & Area Manager to maximize long-term sales and profit potential of each restaurant.
  • Build a positive business relationship with the team and top management in ensuring business goals are met.
  • Developing realistic budgets, food costing and service levels for restaurant operations.
  • Ensures understanding of restaurant operating standards and service quality and subsequently build commitment and ultimately ensure adherence to the Quality, Service, Ambiance & Value (QSAV) guidelines as well as relevant regulatory requirements.

Franchise

  • Overall responsible to the franchise operations support and development plan by organising, planning and executing franchise business development strategies to achieve business goal

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Brand Building, Planning and Monitoring:
  • Work closely with Operations Manager, Area Manager, Restaurant General Manager/ Restaurant Manager/ Asst Restaurant Manager and Top Management Team in ensuring Quality, Service, Ambiance & Value (QSAV) guidelines are implemented based on Brand’s requirements.
  • Monitor and ensure the conduct of various operational & compliance audits across restaurants meet the Brand’s Quality, Service, Ambience & Value (QSAV) guidelines, other policy guidelines established by the RV Group and the relevant regulatory requirements. 

2. Business Results: 

  • Accurately projects and controls all P&L line items and responsible for the overall financial & business performance of the Brand in the assigned country.
  • Provide strategic leadership and management capabilities to support business growth of various restaurant outlets within the assigned geographical location.
  • Guide the team on market positioning of the Company and works closely with them to plan and strategize sales activities to meet the assigned sales and profit targets.
  • Accountable for creating conducive work environment while working shoulder-to-shoulder with the team and CEO to create and accomplish business objectives. 
  • Develop business strategies (advertising, promotions, incentive & reward plans, suggestive selling, etc.) to improve financial performance.

3. People Care:

  • Overall responsible for the development of operations staff in order to optimize customer satisfaction, meet operational standard, drive sales and enhance profits of the respective restaurant.
  • Monitor all restaurants in the assigned country in ensuring adequate manpower resources at all times, performance standards are in place and observed across all restaurants in order to maximize productivity and sales potential.

4. Franchise Operations Support & Development:

  • Monitor franchise development and ensure that a quality business is introduced in terms of the Brand’s rules, regulations, and procedures are met as per Company standard.
  • Strategize the initiative if exploring new business opportunity locally and internationally, and at the same time able to retain the existing franchisee base
  • Monitor and ensure the whole franchising end to end process are followed throughout the process.
  • Promote the brand as a high-quality outlet

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Business Management, Marketing, F&B, Hotel Management, Hospitality or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of working experiences as supervisory role in similar industry with a minimum of 3 years spent in managerial capacity handling a specific area/region.
  • Proficient in full spectrum of casual / fine-dining restaurant function and understand the entire business process of operating and managing restaurants.
  • Connected to the industry trends and understanding of the competitive landscape, operations and business strategy related to the industry is a requirement.
  • Understand and have experience working with Point-Of-Sales (POS) system.
  • High proficiency in managing franchise business operations locally and internationally.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills to maintain good relationship with diverse staffs and customers.
  • Able to coach, lead and manage a diverse group or workforce.
  • Possess leadership qualities to lead, communicate and motivate restaurant team towards meeting/ exceeding the restaurant’s goals and objectives.
  • Able to use analytical approach including benchmarking and other statistical tools to identify problem, solve problem and making decision.
  • Always maintain high standard of personal hygiene, neatly attired and professionally groomed.
  • Possess enthusiasm in learning and keen to get feedback for improvement.
