Business Analyst - Continuous Learning Opportunities

Job summary:

• Responsible for improving the business’s competitiveness and performance across a broad spectrum of criteria 
• Specialize in a particular area, such as inventory management, sales analysis and business process 

Responsibilities: 

• Provide first level support for business applications.
• Act as a liaison between IT teams and business users. 
• Working closely with management to prioritise business goals and information needs. 
• Extract, analyse and prepare business information, metrics, data and reports as required by the management and business users. 
• Determines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Improves business process by studying current practices and recommends controls by identifying problems. 
• Participates in user acceptance testing and testing of new system functionality. 

Requirements: 

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Business Information System/Business Administration. 
• 3-5 years’ experience in positions of related fields. 
• Ability to lead requirements gathering, future state design and fit-gap analysis with business stakeholders. 
• Knowledge of Delivery and Process Improvement Methodologies.
• Good business sense and strong knowledge of supply chain, retail or salon business processes. 
• Good organisational, time and project management skills. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) VBScript and SQL Query. 
• Work experience in FMCG / retail industry will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage
