Business Analyst (PMO Department) - Leading Industry Pay

Responsibilities

The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities which ensure that the company’s processes are effective in delivering customer friendly business solutions to achieve the company’s strategy, commitments and goals by:

• Responsible for delivery the E2E requirements and testing lifecycle 
• Work with business team to ensure business requirements are clearly defined, understood and translated into system functional requirement and other designs.
• To act as the point of contact throughout the project development cycle.
• To work closely with I.T. teams throughout the course of software development to ensure an efficient process is followed.
• Support the development, delivery and management of communications.
• Determine project objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and preparing the business requirement specification
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
• Ensuring the appropriate systems is in place to deliver service levels that are competitive and comply with regulatory guidelines.
• Manage the User Acceptance Testing inclusive prepare that testing strategy, evaluate the defects, provide the UAT reporting 
• Develop automation processes using RPA tools inclusive design, test, and debug software robots.                                                 

Requirements
 

• Degree qualified in Business or Insurance related disciplines.
• Certification in Project Management and Business Improvement e.g. 6 Sigma and Lean Sigma concept, etc is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience as Business Analyst in insurance industry.
• Similar experience in managing the design & implementation of business processes improvement initiatives / project management.
• Analytical and problem solving skills to build roadmaps towards delivering business objectives 
• Proven ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation of business solutions e.g. policies / procedures, process flows, system setting and reporting templates, etc. 
• Able to influence based on clearly articulated recommendations and concisely presented data that anticipate leadership questions.
• Excellent relationship management, negotiation, presentation and communication skills both oral and written.
• Knowledge of General or Life insurance and decision tree logic an added advantage.
• Knowledge and development skillset for RPA an added advantage.
