Business Development Engineer

About the Company

Our client is a Specialist Contractor that specialised in pre-stressing, construction engineering services and methods for bridges, buildings and other structures, specialty construction products such as bridge bearings, expansion joints, structural repairs and many other activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Actively work closely with team members in the securing of jobs.
• Able to communicate, organize and conduct marketing activities of the company's products and specialist engineering services.
• Research into the market for the company's products and services.
• Source for potential new clients.
• Ability to liaise with general contractors, government authorities and consultants.
• Assist in the preparation of quotations and tenders.
• Assist in the company's CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
• Attend tender interview and presentations as and when required.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision within specific dateline.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelors Degree, Post-Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office application.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Remuneration 

• MYR 4,000 - MYR 4,500
