About the Company:

Our client is a leading player in the duty-free industry, offering premium products across multiple categories such as luxury goods, beauty, fashion, spirits, and more. With a strong presence globally, they are now expanding into the Malaysian market and seeking a driven Business Development Executive to spearhead growth initiatives locally.

Job Summary:

The Business Development Executive is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth. This role involves market research, strategic planning, lead generation, and sales pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, industry knowledge, and current expertise.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and customer needs.
  • Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients by providing excellent customer service and support.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop strategies and campaigns.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
  • Maintain CRM data and prepare regular reports on sales activity and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2 - 3 years experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in Retails, FMCG & F&B will be advantage.
