We are looking for a Business Development Manager for expansion of our farm produce and to build a distribution channel for the produce of the agritech farm.
Job Description and Responsibilities
· Actively identify and expand agrotechnology customer base/business leads, develop existing customers, uphold professional relationships with all potential clients.
· Develop and manage effective pre sales and post sales activities.
· Execute business strategies by planning, leading, organizing, and monitoring the performance of the sales to achieve the goals set.
· Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate the market situation and initialize proposals to address market change, open new market segment, etc.
· Proactively manage resources, costs, and prices to achieve sales volume and profit targets.
· Overseeing all projects relevant to business development.
· Undertake ad-hoc assignments as and when required.
Job Requirements
· Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agricultural, Farm Management or similar
· At least 8 years’ experience in the field of FMCG distribution, sales channel distribution in B2C, B2B and or Horeca field.
· Good Technical & Professional Knowledge, including strong understanding of market trends and challenges. Candidate with proven business growth track record will be an advantage.
· Strong analytical skill and sound agriculture technical knowledge.
· Strong personal and interpersonal skill.
· Proactive, resourceful, responsible, responsive and flexible to changes in any situation
· Excellent communication and people skills, fluent in both Bahasa Malaysia and Bahasa English.
· Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
