About us

Dickson Marine Company Sdn. Bhd. has been involved in petroleum trading business since 1985. We are registered with Petronas Dagangan Berhad, Shell (Malaysia) Trading Sdn. Bhd. and Petron Refining & Marketing Bhd as an authorised dealer, with necessary authority licenses and approvals to ensure efficient and continuous supply and delivery of our products and services by inland / sea. Our logistical support ranges from storage facilities, road tankers, tugs and barges, supply vessel, jetty and highly skilled and experienced staff.

Qualifications & experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business or a similar area.
• Minimum 5 years proven sales experience at managerial level in business development, sales, marketing or a related field.
• Knowledge of maritime, oil & gas industry is a plus.
• Be proactive, organized and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in order to express technical and nontechnical concepts clearly and concisely,
• Proficiency in MS Office.Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements.
• Posses own car with valid D license and willing to travel.

Tasks & responsibilities

• To train, lead, motivate and manage a team of salesmen to work towards set business targets.
• Able to resolve subordinates related motivation / disciplinary issues independently.
• Strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
• Identify and pursuing new business opportunities in the oil & gas / marine segmentations.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Conducting market research.
• Develop and implement creative sales strategies to achieve set targets.
