Business Development Manager (Pump Supplier Industry)

Industry: Leading Pump Supplier in Malaysia. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop & generate new business opportunities & income for the assigned market.
• Perform activities such as prospectively leading sales, sales opportunities, generate company awareness through consultants and plant owner involvement to generate sales opportunity.
• Develop sales plan.
• Pro-actively to seek out for new business opportunity.
• Creative and independent judgement in developing and evaluating sales & marketing strategies in selling a broad of portfolio of products within defined market.
• Drive sales process from initial contact through strategy proposal, presentation and successful conclusion of new business opportunities.
• Meet or exceed established new sales budget. 
   

Min Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma, Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering field.
• Minimum of 3 years prior sales working experience within water and waste water industries. Experience candidate are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Knowledgeable in Engineering Products Application such as:

1. Submersible Pump
2. Centrifugal Pump
3. Aerator / Ejector
4. Blower / Turbo Blower
5. Diffuser
6. Mixer
7. Dewatering Machine

• Effective written & verbal communication skills with competency in facilitation & business writing.
• High level of networking & interpersonal skills.
• Experience in successfully building relationships and influencing key decision makers.
•  High level of professionalism, responsibility & accountability with the ability to operate under pressure and meet deadline.
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to identify and sell creative solution based contract and enhancement opportunities that stay consistent with the brand image of the company.
• Willing to travel outstation or oversea on defined project and client.
