About the Role
We are looking for a committed and customer-focused Business Development Manager to join our team at RHB Insurance. This role involves servicing retail bank branches within the central region, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients. You will play a key part in driving business growth through cross-selling, ensuring efficient credit control, and supporting partnership initiatives with our bank partners.
What you will be doing
Service retail bank branches within the central region to support business growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities while managing existing accounts effectively
Take initiative to standardize and improve processes and procedures within the team
Ensure timely submission of all required reports
Drive cross-selling and referral activities to grow and enhance client relationships
Manage payment collection and monitor credit control to minimize outstanding issues
Assist superiors in developing business propositions with partner banks
Undertake additional duties as assigned from time to time
What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Banking, Economics, Finance, or Insurance
Minimum 3 years of working experience in the insurance industry
Strong knowledge of general insurance and banking products
Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Willing to travel within the Klang Valley
