Our client, a company working in the Tech SaaS and F&B industry, is looking to hire a Business Development Manager to join their team in Malaysia. Kindly find the details below

Role Background

As a Business Development Manager you will be strategizing and spearheading the sales cycle for several large accounts from outreach to closing. You’ll be front and centre for building - ground up - our best in class Sales function as we actively engage with large Restaurant and Kitchen partners in the country. Our sales cycle is solution oriented and a key part of this role will be to tailor our offering according to each client’s needs.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll work to expand the company’s footprint, establishing long-term relationships and bringing new merchants onto the platform.

What You Will Do

  • Funnel Management - the basics still stand: achieve monthly quotas for inbound and outbound lead management activity, qualified through to demo and beyond.
  • Documentation & Reporting - nurture and track leads throughout our CRM, documenting feedback and identifying new opportunities to improve on best practice.
  • Product Consultation - identify and flag actionable insights to our product team for the ongoing development of the company's platform, such as aggregating client feedback, scoping out customisation requests and new feature requests, etc.
  • Cross-Functional - collaborate with our other teams around the business to support the company achieving its team goals for 2023 and beyond

Requirements

Experience & Requirements

  • At least 4-5 years of experience in Sales (SaaS, Fintech, or HR Tech )
  • Experience in enterprise solution-based selling is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in both English and Malay
  • Able to operate Office Suite (Word, Excel / Google Docs, Sheet)
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thought process
  • CRM knowledge is a plus
