As our Business Development Specialist, you will be the vital bridge connecting GXBank with key strategic partners to drive loan growth. This isn't just a relationship management role; it’s an opportunity to own a portfolio, scale lending volumes, and directly impact our market expansion.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Grow & Nurture Partnerships: Identify, onboard, and champion relationships with new and existing channeling partners. Be their main point of contact, ensuring seamless loan origination and disbursement.
Sales Strategy Development & Execution: Work closely with partners to set targets, co-create tailored sales plans, and execute strategies that boost monthly loan disbursement volumes.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner internally with our Product, Operations, Risk, and Finance teams to streamline loan processing and ensure a frictionless partner experience.
Performance Monitoring & Analysis: Keep a pulse on performance metrics. You’ll track disbursement figures, conduct regular business reviews with partners, and analyze market data to identify opportunities / threats and adapting strategies accordingly.
Conflict Resolution and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve conflicts between the bank and its partners, actively listening to concerns and finding mutually beneficial solutions. Streamline issue escalation and gather support from relevant stakeholders to maintain partners' confidence levels.
Market Research and Produt Alignment: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitor offerings in the loan channeling space. Provide market and analytical insights to the business and influencing strategic decisions.
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in credit processing within Banking or Financial services.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken) as the role will be presenting to external stakeholders,
Proven ability to write compelling credit proposals in English.
In-depth knowledge of banking products and services, with strong interpersonal skills to engage across all levels.
Strong sales & negotiation skills to pitch and negotiate terms beneficial for both the company and its partners.
