We are desiring to recruit an ambitious Business Solutions, Telecommunication to join our experienced team at Mass Rapid Transit Corporation Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur.

JOB PURPOSE :

As the manager for Business Solutions, you are responsible for securing, retaining and growing MRT Corp telco business market share customer through execution of short, medium and long-term sales action plans so as to ensure sales and business targets achieved.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

1) Developing new business opportunities

  • Works towards revenue realization and maximize profitability in achieving MRT Corp Telco revenue goals.
  • Execute activities in accordance with strategies and account plans to achieve revenue growth and profitability.
  • Implement and manage sales forecasting account planning. Establishes high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency in planning, forecasting and executing.
  • Plan, manage and accountable in meeting or exceeding the Unit revenue target by formulating sales strategies and monitoring its implementation.
  • Manage, establish and ensure great continuity of close working relationship especially with the key personnel of the potential clients, meeting customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer expectation.
  • Conducts opportunity assessment for all accounts (existing and new) and defines overall account strategy.

2) Understand customers' requirements/ecosystems

  • Managing strategic customers and necessary shareholders who are involved in decision making and involved at the operational level at the relevant ministries and government agencies.
  • Provide customized total business solutions requirements e.g. quotations to customer needs and expectations.
  • Strategically develop collaborative opportunities between stakeholders and to leverage on strengths in providing the best solution to the customer and organization.
  • Capture market demand trend and lead the market requirements by producing excellent and immediate response to customers e.g. proposal, solutions, quotation to secure new sales and contracts.
  • Implement strategic business processes to ensure effective deliverables in order to meet the customers requirements within the stipulated timeframe and highest level of service quality.
  • Develop understanding of customer processes and decision drivers deep understanding of current and new customer needs. 

3) Negotiating contract

  • Full involvement in agreement and contract preparation until completion and submission of documents to relevant parties as required by MRT Corp internal processes.
  • Prepare and obtain LOI/LOA and detail commercial terms and conditions.
  • Agreement signing and execution.
  • Analysis and reporting.
  • Develop sales force skills by attended training and coaching session.
  • Consistently update leads, opportunities and sales progress within the Unit as well to ensure all processes are complied and fulfilled.
  • Update monthly sales report for submission to Leadership team.
  • Sales Pipeline monitoring.

4) Project kick off meeting

  • Coordinate project kick off meeting within the internal and external parties.
  • Sales handover to business operations support team and finance operations teams for invoicing and revenue monitoring.
  • Handover support for Operations and Maintenance to the O&M team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND COMPETENCY:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of working experience in Sales and Marketing or related areas in Telecommunication industry.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of developing and executing sales strategies successfully.
  • Excellent presentation skills, strategic thinking skills in driving the teams for result, as well as good negotiation skills.
  • Vast experience in Sales and Marketing, Product Development / Management, Business Operation.
  • Must be willing to travel and relocate.
  • Applicable to only Malaysian citizens.
