Buyer/Planner (Mid Senior)

Purpose Statement:

Responsible for procuring raw materials, components, tooling, supplies and services to ensure a 100% customer service level, while achieving the targeted Quality & Cost objectives. Assist in the implementation of sourcing & commodity strategies for all goods and/or services to achieve improvements in all areas of Quality, Cost and Service.  He/She will demonstrate a moderate level of decision-making skills.

Job Responsibilities:

  Perform all raw materials purchasing procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  He/she will contact local and international providers for the supply of merchandise.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain good relations with providers of raw materials.

  
  


• 
  

  Assess raw materials provider performance periodically.

  
  


• 
  

  Evaluate and select the company´s raw material providers.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain the cost-quality relation, pursuing the maximum savings for the company.

  
  


• 
  

  Satisfy established raw material inventory levels.

  
  


• 
  

  Execute the complete raw material purchase cycle, from definition of the requirement to receiving the merchandise.

  
  


• 
  

  Generate continuous improvement projects for processes related to raw material purchases.

  
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.


• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, or related functions.


• Experience with SAP and Kinaxis RapidResponse is preferred.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Highly detail-oriented with strong data accuracy focus.


• Ability to analyze supply chain data and support operational decision-making.


• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Good-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience leading or participating in continuous improvement projects.
  
  
  • Inventory management experience, including inventory analysis and optimization.
  
  
  • Intermediate proficiency in Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
