JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position Responsibilities:
Engage with Commvault Channel Manager(s) in Asia to execute on strategies aligned to key focused reseller / partners.
Build and maintain relationships, working closely as a trusted resource for segments of our partner segment.
Technical product knowledge with a deep understanding of Commvault solutions and services.
Pre-Sales support assisting in demonstrations, technical presentations and answering technical queries.
Keep up to date on industry knowledge and technology trends.
Successfully build strong relationships with partners and internal sales supporting teams to develop effective technical sales strategies.
Training and Education to ensure success of demonstrations, proof of value, scoping and partner sales campaigns.
Be proactive in building relationships with technical decision makers within partners and drive detailed, executable Technical Account Plans for all focus targets and current partners utilising Commvault Target Account Selling methodology.
Actively participate in trade events, conferences, partner sessions to generate leads and promote Commvault’s’ solutions and services.
Continuously develop and maintain technical expertise through training, certifications, conferences, etc.
Position Requirements:
Be able to converse and conduct business in fluent English and Mandarin.
Any other spoken languages Japanese, Korean etc.) would be a strong advantage but not a requirement.
Frequent travel within the region
Security, Cloud/SaaS and or Data Management experience.
Specialised knowledge/skills and demonstrated proficiency with at least one major open systems operating system, hypervisor and cloud technologies.
Knowledge of major workloads – SQL, SAP, Oracle, Exchange, db2, SharePoint etc.
Knowledge of infrastructure technologies – cloud, storage, servers, networking, hyper-convergence, etc.
Requires strong consultative selling skills, gathering feedback to create product expertise with business, industry and competitive acumen.
Solid experience with business case creation and TCO modeling are definite pluses for this role.
Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to build and maintain stakeholder and business relationships.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science/engineering or related and proven technical field experience in IT industry preferred.
