Chargeman BO (11kV/33kV) - Opportunity to Make a Difference

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain 11kV or 33kV and carry out switchgears and power transformers and overall electrical installation of the Company as per described in the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and the Electricity Regulations 1994 and operate in safe condition.
• Carry out visit & perform daily check of the switchboards, switching tools, generator sets, feeder pillars, circuit breakers and other power tools under the custody & record the status of the equipment in the Chargeman daily log book.
• Provide scheduling of routine preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshooting any issues with the plant utility systems.
• Writing of internal SOPs for relevant areas & develop processes or procedures.
• Oversight of improvement or installation projects.
• Responsibility to ensure plant utility systems meet internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
• Take care entire electrical installation and maintenance work. 
• Monitoring high voltage equipment performances and troubleshooting. 
• Monitor daily power consumption and to minimize or avoid equipment breakdown and power failure.
• Liaise with TNB, Energy Commission and all other authorities on legal requirements.
• Carry out high voltage switching work and maintenance work.
• Perform monitoring and continuous improvement of plant electrical equipment and system.
• Any other duties assigned by superior.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess Chargeman BO (11kV or 33kV) certified by Suruhanjaya Tenaga Malaysia (Energy Commission).
• Hands-on working experience as HT Chargeman in manufacturing environment in facilities electrical equipment i.e. switchgears, transformers, emergency generators and others devices with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Willing to work in Bukit Minyak, Pulau Pinang.
