Chemist cum Quality Controller (Cosmetic and Formulary) - Leading Industry Pay

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Past Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Chemistry. 
• 1 year of working experience in the related field will be an added advantage. 
• Experienced in R&D projects, familiar with laboratory operations and R&D processes. 
• Possess work experience in quality control(QC), familiar with quality management systems. 
• Knowledgeable in GMP regulations and the management processes of batch production records(BMR). 
• Experienced in managing chemical warehouses, familiar with the safety handling protocols for chemicals. 
• Experienced in GMP audits, knowledgeable about pharmaceutical industry regulations and standards. 
• Excellent computer skills, including MS Office 
• Understanding of manufacturing methods and procedures

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To establish manufacturing procedure, product and raw material specification in line with the formulation requirements.
• Work closely with marketing team to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provided technical support to production.
• Responsible for maintenance of product development laboratory.
• Responsible to maintain a good document control system for formulation and other technical information.
• Responsible to carry out raw material, IPQC and final product result compilation
• Involved in GMP and SOP training of methods and procedure to QC inspector.
• Ensure that all necessary sampling, inspection, checks and tests had been done and requirement performed before FG can be released to the customer.
• Initiating, documenting and performing microbiological analysis on received test samples (such as raw materials, bulk, finished goods, stability, water) 
• Maintain laboratory procedures in accordance with GMP and Halal compliance.
• Involved in customer's audit and GMP audit
• Responsible to deal with NPRA requirements.
• To carry out product development work based on assigned project.
• A quality controller inspector works for a company to inspect, test, and sample materials, parts or defects and any deviations from specifications.
• Maintains quality standards by approving incoming material s, in- process, and finished products; recording quality result.
• Approves incoming material s by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming specification; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustment to production supervisor.
• Approves finished product by confirming specifications ; conducting visual and measurement test ; returning products for re-work ; confirming re-work.
• Document inspection result by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; imputing data into quality database.
• Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repair.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
