Chief Editor, Group Marketing - Positive Work Culture

Responsibilities:

• To be responsible for conceptual development and copy deliverables for all media
• To be able to articulate, rationalise and present ideas creatively and crop interesting stories into many different angles
• To ensure the message communicated are relevant, interesting and suitable to targeted market segment
• To ensure that information communicated is correct, accurate and relevant in its legal aspect as well as in education and marketing context
• To assist in Public Relations related matter
• To have good judgment and a strong sense of ethics in deciding what to publish
• To report significant amendments to the Head of Department

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Journalism, English or similar discipline/ related qualification with a minimum of 15 years working experience in editorial job.
• Competency in English, both spoken and written 
• Creative with a broad range of knowledge
• Independent, self-motivated, positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
• Familiarity with electronic publishing, graphics, corporate identity and video production equipment would be an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure and within set deadlines
• Competent in Microsoft Application
• Competency in Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage
