Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Public Listed Company (Based in KL)

Company Information

We are representing our client, a public listed agriculture and manufacturing company and a constituent of the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. As Southeast Asia's (SEA) leading pure play in its field, their operation now spans across 5 countries within the region.

Our established client is currently searching for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with regional exposure to be based in KL.

*Hybrid work and attractive remuneration package provided including company car and personal driver.

Job Summary

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will direct and oversee the overall organization's financial operations and strategy as well as corporate affairs in a relatively large Listco with regional presence.

You will be reporting directly to the Group CEO and will be leading 5 Financial Controllers within the SEA region.

Responsibilities

• Leading and overseeing the entire region financial operations and providing strategic financial guidance which include tracking cash flow, financial planning as well as analyzing the Company's financial strengths and weaknesses.
• Responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, investment and cash management.
• Perform risk management by analyzing organization's investments and liabilities.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the group CEO and executive management team.
• Provide commercial insight and leadership across business
• Advising on long-term business and financial planning.
• To update and brief investors of the company's performance

Requirement

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance. Professional certification i.e. ACCA, CPA, MIA is highly desirable.
• Minimum 4-5 years experience as CFO handling financial and corporate affairs in a Manufacturing Public Listed Company .
• Good understanding and exposure of regional or global best practices
• Strong leadership skill with ability to influence others to achieve the desirable outcome for the group.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement and to provide objective, independent views.
• Good spoken in English and Mandarin as required to communicate with mandarin speaker stakeholders.
• Ability to travel as necessary
