Our client is a well known financial services organisation with a global presence across Asia. They are currently looking for a CISO to join their security team. This role is crucial to manage areas within Cybersecurity, IT Risks & Controls for the company.

In summary,, you will responsible for integrating security controls across Malaysia. In this role, you will be assisting local BODs and management with security and technology risks related topics. You will also be the key individual that supports the execution of security strategy and be the local go to person for IT security and technology risk matters. You will be working closely with the regional teams to understand the regional roadmap and align it with local initiatives.

To qualify an individual must possess:

A Bachelor's/ Master's degree in IT, Business Administration, Computer Science or related field
Minimum 8 years experience of information security and worked in Financial Services as Information Security Officer at regional/global level
Experienced in bank knowledge (Payment, Operations, Client Management, Compliance etc)
Certified in certifications like ISO 27001 Certified Lead Auditor, CRISC, CISA, CISM or CISSP
Good spoken and written proficiency in English with good stakeholder management experience
