Circle Lead, Cloud Platform Engineering Circle

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Circle Lead, Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) to lead RHB Banking Group’s cloud transformation journey. In this role, you will act as the single-threaded leader across all Cloud Platform Engineering functions including Platform, Operations, and Security. You will drive enterprise architecture modernization and migration to AWS and Azure while aligning cloud initiatives with business needs and fostering innovation across cloud technologies.

What you will be doing

• Act as the single-threaded leader for all Cloud Platform Engineering functions covering Platform, Operations, and Security.

• Lead a large technical team driving RHB’s enterprise architecture and migration to AWS and Azure platforms.

• Align products and services offered by Cloud Platform Engineering with the strategic objectives of RHB’s Cloud Adoption Program.

• Drive a culture of innovation across all cloud technologies, including compute, storage, databases, analytics, networking, serverless, and application-level services.

• Advocate and educate senior executives on key cloud differentiators such as security, reliability, availability, cost efficiency, and time to market.

• Lead change management efforts by building awareness and understanding of enterprise cloud technology adoption among key stakeholders.

• Collaborate closely with application teams to gather requirements and ensure successful cloud platform implementation.

• Ensure a seamless transition of new cloud workloads to infrastructure teams for business-as-usual operations and ongoing support.

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience leading large-scale cloud transformation initiatives within enterprise environments.

• Strong technical knowledge of AWS and Azure cloud services, including infrastructure, security, networking, and DevOps practices.

• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across architecture, operations, and cloud security.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.

• Strong understanding of enterprise IT governance, cost optimization, and compliance in regulated industries.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance innovation and operational excellence.
