The City Operations Team is responsible for maintaining a high standard of operation excellence in the city they manage. The team needs to be able to create quick wins and create long term strategy to accelerate growth.

Get to Know the Role

• Monitor and drive improvements in the city performance
• Responsible for working together with internal teams and external parties such as partners, local governance, and local businesses.
• The role will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Grab brand.
• The role will be in charge of growth for the city by achieving numbers
• You will report into the Acquisition & PA Lead and be based in Kuching, working onsite.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• The role will need to plan, execute and monitor everyday operations of the city
• You will need to maintain operational standard in your city
• You will need to be able to extract insights from data, trends, survey and market intelligence
• You expected to manage cost effectiveness/ efficiency and deliver operational and financial target within designated financial cost

What Essentials Skills You Will Need

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Other dialects and languages are a plus since the role is required to travel to different cities from time to time.
• Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and constantly evolving environment.
• Capable of making strategic business decisions and delivering well-founded recommendations through data-driven insights and analytical reasoning.
• Minimum 3-4 years of primary experience in operations
• Proficient in Google Workspace
• Proficiency in systems like SQL and experience with tools that support implementation and performance monitoring will be beneficial.
