Civil & Structural Engineer - Positive Work Culture

Job Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible in supporting the Civil and Structural Engineering Department in Civil and Structural engineering tasks related to projects, contracts and troubleshooting at cement plant sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Carry out tasks relating to Civil and Structural engineering assigned by Senior Engineer.
• Carry out Civil and Structural engineering model, analysis and design works.
• Prepare Civil and Structural engineering drawings for tender submission and construction.
• Perform technical reviews and provide recommendations on designs, and reports prepared by sub-consultants or suppliers.
• Carry out bill of quantity for Civil and Structural engineering works.
• Prepare Bill of Quantities, Conditions of Contract, Letter of Award, work specifications, and work programmes for Civil and Structural engineering works.
• Source for suppliers and obtain quotations for Civil and Structural engineering construction materials and provide input to Senior Engineer.
• Prepare tender comparison table and analysis.
• Coordinate, monitor, and supervise the Civil and Structural construction activities to ensure that all work is in accordance with the contractual requirements. Prepare and provide regular site progress reports to management as required.
• Assess Civil and Structural engineering construction material quality and report findings to Senior Engineer.
• Comply with Company's procedures and policies.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by superior to support company operations and objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess at least 2 years of relevant working experience in Civil and Structural engineering projects with involvement in design and/or site works. However, fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
• Have strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to coordinate more than one project at a time to ensure project deadlines are met.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
