Clinic Assistants (Serdang Selangor / USJ Subang Jaya / Sitiawan Perak) - Unlimited Growth Potential

JOB DESCRIPTION (CLINIC ASSISTANT)

**Mandarin speaking preferred** 

1. Pack and label medications and pharmaceutical products
2. Welcoming patients during the registration process
3. Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and sending appointment reminders to the patients on daily basis 
4. Updating and filing patient medical records. Ensure that patients' details are correct, including the patient’s date of birth, allergy information, etc.
5. Assist patients with existing appointments and check them in or give directions to the relevant room/suite they will be going to.
6. Make updates to patients' information on their electronic and hard copy records.
7. Arranging for hospital admissions and laboratory services.
8. Coding and filling out insurance forms.
9. Handling correspondence, billing, and bookkeeping.
10. To discharge patients including help to dispensing medicine and collecting payment 
11. Perform daily sales record and settlement
12. Accurately count and fill medications.
13. Monitor and maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and surgical supplies 
14. Keep the clinic area you work in clean and tidy, and report any issues regarding cleanliness to the cleaning team.
15. Update patients with waiting times or further testing that needs to be completed.
16. Carry out simple vision tests for patients, assisting in monitoring eye dilation status
17. Assisting ophthalmologist during operation/ minor procedure in the treatment room and operation theatre 
18. Gather all equipment needed for the patient's appointment to be ready for the clinical staff or doctor to use.
19. Ensure that all used equipment is sent for sterilization.
