KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Cloud Architecture Development

• Design and maintain an overarching cloud architecture strategy that aligns with Maybank’s business goals


• Lead the integration of cloud architecture with integration, security and data architectures to enhance organizational capabilities


• Expert knowledge of cloud services and architecture patterns, cloud integration, and secure cloud design

Governance and Cloud Standards Compliance

• Develop and enforce cloud governance standards and practices


• Oversee the management of cloud resources, including the establishment of a cloud services catalog and detailed policies

Technology Leadership and Guidance

• Provide expert guidance on the latest cloud technologies and architectural approaches, including hybrid clouds, native cloud services, interoperability of cloud solutions


• Lead the adoption of emerging cloud technologies and methodologies that can provide a competitive advantage

Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration

• Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to identify and implement cloud solutions that support business initiatives


• Clearly communicate cloud architectural plans and benefits to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and understanding.

Research and Innovation

• Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in cloud architecture


• Lead the exploration and implementation of innovative cloud solutions to drive business growth and efficiency.

MANDATORY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.


• Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise level technology architecture.


• Minimum of 5 years of experience in enterprise level cloud architecture.


• Proficiency in AWS and Azure.


• Proven track record of leading large-scale cloud architecture projects with clear personal contribution.

Job Certification:

• Required: AWS or Azure Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF.


• Desirable: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
