We are assisting our reputable Banking Client to look for Cloud Developer enthusiast to join their dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur

Responsibilities

Platform Engineering

• Developing and enhancing key platforms that support Digital Banking products
• Develop and enhance microservice platform – implementing service discovery, scalability, monitoring, and high availability
• Incorporate portability between into platform design and technology stack, to prepare for multi-cloud environment

Cloud project delivery

• Development and enhancement of cloud native services to support Digital Banking products
• Extending platforms for new use cases
• Ensuring performance targets, reliability and monitoring requirements are met

App Modernization

• Modernizing legacy and on-premise applications 
• Migrating on-premises services and applications to cloud while maintaining compatibility with existing services and integrations
• Implementing integration between cloud services and on-premise applications, using appropriate design patterns and technologies for security, reliability and low latency

Skills and experience

• 2-3 Years experience in Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• 2-3 Years experience in AWS experience ( EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, EKS)
• 2-3 Years experience Cloud network and firewall services (Elastic Load Balancer, NAT Gateway, AWS WAF, Network Firewall, CloudFront, Subnet routing, Transit Gateway)
• 1-2 Years experience in GitHub Actions
• 2-3 Years experience in Docker
• 1-2 Years Kubernetes
• 2-3 Years experience in RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL)
• 2-3 Years experience in NodeJS/Java (Spring)
• Unix/Linux skills
