Job Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and efficient applications using Azure services and the e.g. React.js framework based on company UI policies and guidelines.
• Utilise Azure services such as Azure Functions, Azure LogicApp, Azure WebApp Service (Static Single Page Applications), Azure Storage, and Azure DevOps for seamless integration and deployment of web applications.
• Implement and adhere to best practices for version control using Git patterns (branches, merges, pull requests, etc.), ensuring code quality, collaboration, and efficient application life cycle work flows within the development team.
• Perform migration of existing applications to the Microsoft Public Cloud (MS Azure, MS Dynamics 365) together with the IT architects.
• Optimise the Microsoft environment in the internal IT of Mercedes-Benz Tech Innovation GmbH using your experience from previous projects.
• Setting up automated testing for the front end as part of our CI/CD solutions and operations model rounds off your range of tasks, by using Apache JMeter to test functional behaviour and do measure performance via Azure Load Test Service.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree/certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with React.js with proficiency in full-stack development.
• 1 - 3 years' experience in building and operating web application running on Azure Services .
• Good understanding of cloud automation as well as continuous deployment and integration methods with e.g. Azure PaaS Services and Azure DevOps is highly desirable.
• Experienced in implementing cloud infrastructure and/or app solutions based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Azure DevOps (e.g. Bicep, PowerShell, Azure CLI).
• Experience with interface standards such as RESTful APIs, JSON. You are familiar with API testing tools like "Postman" or "SoapUi".
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, present software solutions, and advise clients would make you an excellent candidate.
• Exposure to collaborating with global stakeholders would be a plus!
