CNC CAM Programmer - with Great Benefits

Job Responsibility

• Responsible in developing, editing, revising and documenting manufacturing methods and CNC programs from various engineering media for high precision 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Perform the scheduling and preparation of all CAM files for manufacturing of all products on high precision 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Responsible for reading and interpreting design blueprints, programming the CNC machine and adjusting the machine settings to produce components that meet the specifications during the First Article Inspection (FAI).
• To carry out continuous improvement on CNC programs after First Article Inspection is successfully carried out and approved by customers.
• To ensure all shop floor documents are updated accurately for machinist to carry out their jobs.
• To support Manufacturing Department in troubleshooting issues during manufacturing process and improve CNC programs when needed.

Job Requirement

• Professional Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in CAM Programming, Manufacturing Technology, Engineering or equivalent; or 1 to 2 years of related working experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Good knowledge in CNC programming using EdgeCAM
• Good in setting up 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machine.
• Good in troubleshooting skills.
• Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing.
• Problem solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
