Commercial Operations Specialist, APAC

The Commercial Operations Specialist contributes to commercial effectiveness and operational excellence by supporting the timely and accurate execution of commercial operational activities in close collaboration with local market teams and regional stakeholders. This includes proactive interaction with Sales, Finance, Customer Services, Legal and Commercial Excellence teams to ensure processes are executed efficiently, data is maintained accurately, and commercial systems are effectively supported.

• Support execution of centralized commercial operations activities on behalf of APAC markets.
• Support pricing administration activities including maintenance of pricing records, coordination of approvals and tracking of pricing changes.
• Coordinate rebate administration processes including rebate setup, tracking and recurring calculations.
• Maintain commercial master data and ensure data accuracy across commercial systems.
• Support recurring commercial reporting and operational tracking activities.
• Administer Salesforce and other commercial systems including user access management, account maintenance and troubleshooting support.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities for new system enhancements, releases and process changes.
• Coordinate with regional and global support teams to resolve system-related issues.
• Maintain system documentation, user guidelines and standard operating procedures.
• Monitor operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, consistency and service quality.
• Support implementation of process improvements, workflow optimization and operational best practices.
• Assist in the transition and centralization of commercial activities from local markets into the APAC Commercial Office.
• Provide backup support for contract administration, contract tracking and related commercial compliance activities as required.
• Support and assist in other areas of commercial operations and administration as required.

• Logical and organized with a strong process and systems mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Must be able to work with both speed and accuracy, particularly when managing operational and administrative activities.
• Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
• Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with internal stakeholders across different functions and markets.
• Experience working with CRM and commercial systems such as Salesforce is preferred.
• Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and proactively seeks opportunities to simplify and standardize processes.
• Verbal and written English language skills.

• Fluent verbal and written Mandarin language skills.

   

Work Environment:

• Normal office environment/setting
• Sedentary to light physical effort necessary to perform the job
• Prolonged sitting in front of a computer

Experience:

• 3-5 years in commercial operations, sales administration, sales operations, business operations or commercial support roles.
• Experience working with commercial systems, CRM platforms or business applications.
• Experience working in a multinational environment would be an advantage.
• Experience supporting process improvement, operational excellence or shared services activities would be an advantage..

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent required
