Objective

We are looking for individuals who can facilitate trading in securities and futures to achieve business targets. Besides executing trades in both local and foreign exchanges, you will also be involved in carrying out sales and marketing initiatives and providing other investment services to clients.

Responsibilities

• Promote both local and foreign exchanges by sharing trading ideas from our award-winning research team.
• Dealing and execute trades for equities and futures according to clients’ instructions.
• Carry out sales and marketing activities to acquire, activate and retain clients.
• Manage clients’ equities investment portfolio.
• Provide professional after sales service and maintain good relationship with clients.
• Adhere at all times to the Capital Markets Securities Act and all other applicable rules and guidelines issued by the Securities Commission, Bursa Malaysia and other relevant regulatory bodies in the stockbroking industry as well as internal policies and guidelines issued by Maybank Investment Bank Berhad.

Requirements

• Degree and/or professional qualification from an institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
• Must possess Securities Commission’s Capital Market Services Representative License and has passed either Modules 6 & 7 (equities) or Module 14 & 16 (futures).
• Keen interest in financial markets with passion for dealing in equities and futures.
• Good analytical skills with understanding of securities and capital markets.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Personable with good interpersonal skills.
• Highly motivated and good team player.
• Extensive and well-connected network of established business contacts would be an added advantage.
