Consumer Product Manager - Hybrid

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

1.  Development of Product Vision & Strategy for our Consumer Business:

• Identify customer needs and more prominent business objectives for the Consumer business.
• Articulate what success looks like and rallies key stakeholders to help turn that vision into reality. 
• Create buy-in for the product vision, and maintain a roadmap that prioritises features based on business value, customer feedback, and market demand.
• Conduct market research to identify end-customer needs and industry trends for us to remain strongly competitive.

2. Collaboration with UI/UX designers on User Journey and Interfaces:

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct user research & testing; plus, gather feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
• Ensure the platform provides a seamless experience for our target customer base, across all devices.

3. Product Development and GTM Execution:

• Work closely with our Engineering team to deliver high-quality product features on time and within budget.
• Write clear and concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Always conduct experimentation and track results. It’s all about the strong impact we’re making and our agility in doing so! 
• Manage the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery, minimal gaps and high quality.

4. Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate product updates and progress to internal and external stakeholders, in a timely manner.
• Work closely with marketing, data, operations and tech teams to ensure successful product launches and user adoption.
• Foster a collaborative environment with all departments to align product initiatives with business objectives.

5. Performance Monitoring and Measure Results:

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and user satisfaction.
• Analyse data to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement feedback loops to continuously iterate and enhance product offerings.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

• Possess at least 4 years of experience in a product manager role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field. Product management professional certificates from Product Schools are highly advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Product Manager in fast growing consumer business startups and companies, or similar role, with proven track records of successful implementations.
• Adept at capturing the pulse of the consumer market, aligning product strategies with evolving needs and preferences.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience working with design teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in using product management tools (e.g. Jira) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Looker Studio).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across various functions.
• Has Extreme Ownership to proactively work on gaps and challenges, as well as to see things through till successful completion!
