Continuous Improvement Analyst II

Job Overview

Purpose 

Promote & facilitate the successful implementation of continuous improvement tools & processes across local site by conducting sustainable continuous improvement events to support the top priorities of local site, and is responsible for driving continuous improvement culture and minimizing system waste through lean systems & processes. 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

Continuous Improvement  Kaizen activities

1) Analyze and monitor performance of the most impactful value stream to find improvement opportunities. develop value stream maps and execute the continuous improvement implementation plan for specific value streams to achieve the plant level continuous improvement metrics and goals whilst ensuring alignment to the business unit strategy.

2) Direct the planning and implementation of Kaizen related continuous improvement activities and hold the regular site level kaizen workshop

3) Lead cross functional teams to collaborate in defining problem statements, problem analysis and implementation of solutions.

4) Facilitate the planning and implementation of workplace flow and layout, moves according to Lean concepts.

5) Conducts material handling and flow analysis, responsible for material flow within the plant, plant layouts, new equipment layout, and warehousing requirements.

6) Identify and pursue cost saving initiatives.

7)  To deploy and promote digital tools and initiatives to create value. 

8) Oversee the accomplishment of the operational standardization work; and follow up and drive the deployment of the project.

Continuous Improvement Training & Coaching

1) Lead the continuous improvement tools training to continuous improvement tool champions and leaders,Kaizen Facilitator and continuous improvement activity team members.

2) Develop skill levels of practitioners and other site personnel in order to implement and sustain continuous improvement. 

3）Educate and train associates on the ways to improve the company’s products, machines and processes, conduct Kaizen Event to speed up the continuous improvement transformation progress. 

Job Requirements

1）Bachelor degree in science or engineering

2）Minimum 3 years working experience and 1 year of professional experience with focus on production, logistics or industrial engineering and economical knowledge 

3）Previous experience in leading continuous improvement activities on site or value stream level.

4）familiar with stream mapping and implementing continuous improvement tools. 

5）Excellent communication and coaching skills 

6）Project management skills.

7）Out-of- the box thinking skills 

8）Embrace change and to be a change catalyst.
