German - Dutch ORYX STAINLESS GROUP is a global leader in the production of stainless steel scrap blends. From our production facilities in the Europe and Asia we supply the biggest smelters worldwide for their stainless steel production.
After the huge success of our Thailand operation, we have started construction of our second yard in Asia. Strategically located in Johor between the ports of Pasir Gudang and Tanjung Langsat, the operation is designed for truck, container and bulk shipments, sourcing domestically in Malaysia, from neighbouring countries, the rest of Asia Pacific and globally.
Starting in Q3-2024 the operations on our production facility comprises of thorough control of incoming materials, metallurgical analysis, sophisticated inventory management, and customising batches for shipping container loads of stainless steel scrap blends to smelters in Japan, Korea, China, and India. All of the above must be accurately recorded and documented.
From end to end, from confirming a purchase, its contractual documentation, tracking until import customs clearance, offloading on our yard including quality control, reconciliation of order terms, settlement of claims and final payments, the
CONTRACT, INVENTORY & CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER
leads her/his team to document every single transaction meticulously and extensively until incoming materials become registered inventory. Equally, exports must be commissioned, shipping arranged, movements tracked from loading to clearance, administered, recorded and financially settled until our blended products reach our customers throughout Asia Pacific.
Be the person connecting it all:
Working closely with all departments and the management team, you connect inside our yard and between our operations, suppliers and customers worldwide. You have a strong customer service orientation, internally and externally and keep calm when things get hectic, as they will! You are the go-to-person if anyone wants to know the contract status, where a shipment is, the status and details and our inventory, enabling timely supply to our demanding, large customers regionally.

We source materials domestically in Malaysia and worldwide. Our transactions are documented in greatest detail, for our own reference and to satisfy the many government bodies wishing to monitor. Every detail is documented, digitally, yet it is your human touch that makes suppliers and customers stick with us. You and your team deal extensively with government authorities and maintain detailed and accurate information at your fingertips.
