Contract Manager - Urgent Role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Pre & Post Contract Administration and internal compliance with contract and management objectives particularly on the procedures and systems as implemented under the ISO 9001.
• To monitor and coordinate with Consultants and/or Project teams based on the tasks as defined under the Pre & Post Contract stage.
•  To play an active role in exercising Cost Control and Measures for all projects. 
• Coordinate Tender Submission, Evaluates and conduct Reviews on all Tender and Contract Documents to ensure requirement are met.
• To ensure proper documentation records and proper filing system is maintained at all times.
• Coordinate with project team on scope of work and packaging of work for the appointment of Sub-contractor.
• Arrange Work Packages tender calling and closing.
• Check, evaluate and prepare tender comparison report and award proposal for all Work Packages.
• Monitoring, ensuring accurate and up to date measurement of quantities.
• Negotiating final settlement of subcontracts and overseeing the preparation of final account.
• Overseeing the valuation and preparation of subcontractor’s monthly progress claim.
• Overseeing the valuation of variation works to subcontracts / works packages.
• Monitor for variation claims submission to Consultant timely and follow up with Consultant for the approval.
• Administer contractual matters and related claims. 
• Overseeing and administer the day-to-day running of the Contracts Department.
• All other duties to be performed as and when directed by the Superior.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Diploma or equivalent in Quantity Surveying / Building
• At least 12 years working experience in Construction Contract Department
• Good knowledge of Building Contract
• Basic Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001
• Sound knowledge in Quantity Surveying functions
• Good leadership, communication and negotiation skills.
