Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice or counsel in business-related areas ,for example: company law, business law, real estate, tax, , transactions/anti-trust, compliance, intellectual property, employment/labor, corporate governance, ethics, etc.
- Researching, analyzing, and interpreting proposed and existing laws, statutes, and regulations.
- Identifying, and evaluating legal risk and provide advice.
- Drafting & reviewing legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies and other documents related to a variety of trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
- Able to represent company in litigation, arbitration, mediation or other disputes with courts, government agencies, or other legal authorities.
- Solve any contract related problems that may arise with other parties and internally with the company itself.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by the management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Possessed a Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and a member of the Malaysia Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience working in a law firm or legal department of a medium to a large international corporation.
- Fluent (spoken and written) in English, Bahasa Malaysian and Mandarin.
